The Nike Shox R4 Gets Suited in Brown Suede

Suede might not be the first finish that comes to mind when you consider the retro-futuristic silhouette, but the Swoosh has set out to make a case otherwise with the launch of this latest iteration. The ‘Brown/Green’ Suede is getting ready to roll out over the next few months – here’s how it shapes up.

Thanks to the R4’s wide-panel construction, the model lends itself to a wider variety of material make-ups than other Shox variations. In this case, the lower half sees a light tan, hairy suede stretched over its skeleton, while brown leather covers the throat, collars and toe boxes. To break up the monochromatic palette, the chocolatey tones are spliced with neon green accents which land on the tongue and heel tab branding hits, as well as the spring-like Shox columns underfoot.
