Nineties basketball sneakers have made a massive comeback in the last couple of years. Since the return of retro ballers, we've seen thirst for Foamposites and Uptempos skyrocket, and Penny Hardaway and Charles Barkley signatures dug up from the archive. And now Nike are bringing back Sir Charles' first signature with the Swoosh.
The strapped-up Nike Air Force Max CB, which released after Sir Charles’ 1994 MVP season, is returning to the courts this year, slated for a Fall release. It takes black nubuck as its base, liberally splashes gold accents on the Swoosh, hardware and Air bubble for added shine.
There’s no solid date yet but expect these to hit stores in the coming months.
