Nike Releasing Another 3D-Printed Vaporfly Elite Flyprint Colourway
The Vaporfly Elite Flyprint is the next evolution of Nike’s ground-breaking Vaporfly 4% runner. Marathon GOAT Eliud Kipchoge provided feedback following Nike’s BREAKING2 initiative, which led to the creation of Flyprint: a 3D-printed textile upper that makes the runner 11 grams lighter than its predecessor.
The debut colourway dropped at a London launch and an exclusive runners’ event in Chicago earlier this year, but rumours suggest the Vaporfly Elite Flyprint will be getting a wider release soon.
Flyprint has the benefit of almost zero water retention, while preserving the elements that made Flyknit so popular. The unique weave allows for a textural look, and the enlarged swoosh and aggressive midsole stay true to the Vaporfly 4%’s progressive aesthetic.
