Nike Releases Capsule Collection Celebrating China’s Space Program

 have added more space-themed sneakers to their universe, honouring the 20th anniversary of China’s first unmanned launch into space – Shenzhou 1 – with a special capsule collection.

A China-exclusive drop, the collection features the (in unisex sizes), men’s and women’s colourways of the , and the Air Max Tailwind IV. Each piece comes equipped with futuristic space-age detailing and a tricolour scheme of red, white and blue. Lifting off with silver foil accents, insoles constructed with spacesuit insulation, and unique 3D-effect tongue labels, this collection is likely to sell at light speed.

A special pop-up experience will take place on August 24 in Beijing to launch the collection, with a wider release at select China-based retailers taking place on September 1.
