Nike Prepare to Deliver an Air Max 95 in White and Silver
The has seen its fair share of colourways over the years, but this latest offering could very well be one of the cleanest of all time. The mostly white scheme adds minor touches of beige and silver to provide a little contrast, leveraging the AM95’s legendary layered upper.
Within the many chapters of lives the origin story of the Air Max 95. Back in the early 90s, Nike designer Sergio Lozano was staring out of his office window on a rainy Beaverton day, hoping to find some inspiration, when he started to imagine the falling rain eroding the landscape to unearth the strata below the surface. That idea of previously hidden layers resonated once more when Lozano later considered the similarly layered muscle fibres and flesh that make up the anatomy of the human foot. The rest, as they say, is history, with the AM95 going on to forge a towering reputation in the sneakersphere.
