Nike Link Up With Comme des Garçons for a Shox Revival

There’s been a lot of sneaker action on the runways across Paris Fashion Week, but it was Comme des Garçons’ link up with Nike that inspired the most chatter, the Japanese brand taking on one of Nike’s more embattled silhouettes: the Shox.

Nike’s putting Comme des Garçons on the revival job, the silhouette positioned to do well thanks to the recent interest in bulky technical sneakers. The CdG x Nike Shox build features a mesh and synthetic upper, with multiple design overlays and a co-branded tongue unit. Most notably, CdG have blinged the Nike Shox with a big ol’ chain wrapped around the silhouette’s midsection.
