Jungle Venom: Kobe’s Air Force 1 ‘Cargo Khaki’

salute to the Mamba keeps rolling with another Low laced with iconography. The latest leak? A reptilian-skinned serpent in ‘Cargo Khaki’ that trades courtside sheen for jungle-camouflage vibes (anyone else firing up the Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater remaster?).
Built in leather with snakeskin embossing, the upper comes fully dipped in olive tones, from the panels to the midsoles and laces. It’s a one-colour killer, but the details do the talking: Kobe’s sheath logo hits the tongue, while embroidered '8' and '24' on the heels immortalise his Lakers legacy. Add the classic Air Force 1 tooling and you’ve got a colourway with bite.
The 'Cargo Khaki' looks set to join a growing roster of Kobe-themed Air Force 1s, which already includes the 'Triple White' and 'Court Purple' editions, with whispers of a 'Cool Grey' in the mix too. Release timing and pricing remain up in the air – some sources point to a Fall 2025 drop with a $130 sticker, while others suggest early 2026 at around $120. Either way, until Beaverton makes it official, nothing’s locked.
And this isn’t the only Kobe heat bubbling. Rumours of a Protro revival are swirling, alongside chatter of more models in the pipeline. Factor in the AF-1 crossovers and it’s clear Nike are loading the shelves with enough Mamba product to keep fans feasting for seasons to come.
Stay tuned for confirmed release details – and maybe clear some closet space.
