Official Images of the Nike Kobe 8 ‘Mambacita’ Have Arrived

Kobe Bryant’s long legacy lives on through his expansive Nike catalogue that is now spear-headed by his wife Vanessa Bryant. She's had a hand in teasing fresh iterations, and most recently there was the Kobe 5 ‘X-Ray’ that she confirmed through her socials, but one pair that she is yet to tease is the Kobe 8 Protro ‘Mambacita’.

Rumours and imagery of this pair have been circulating the Internet for some time, with on-foot shots even popping up. This ‘Mambacita’ colourway is said to be a tribute to his daughter Gigi and hosts an all-over black butterfly graphic in a simplistic black and white mesh makeup. Rounding things out is the Kobe branding and side Swooshes that have been embroidered in gold.

There’s no exact release date just yet for the Nike Kobe 8 ‘Mambacita’, but word on the street states pairs will land on May 1, 2024.
