are set to throw another heater with the upcoming Protro ‘Dodgers’ – a colourway that hits harder than a walk-off homer. Scheduled to land later this month, the colourway fuses hallowed hardwood design DNA with a tip of the cap to his beloved LA Dodgers.

The Kobe 6’s iconic upper is doused in ‘Game Royal’, matching the Dodgers’ cherished uniform palette, with clean white contrasts and red stitching to echo classic baseball aesthetics. Kobe’s number ‘8’ is stitched into the heel, while the tongue gets a curveball with baseball-style threadwork. Add the signature snakeskin texture, and you’ve got a shoe that’s pure Mamba – with just a bit of Crenshaw flair.

Originally created as a Player Exclusive for Vanessa Bryant, the pair first turned heads when Natalia Bryant stepped onto the mound at LA's Dodger Stadium for a ceremonial pitch. That moment lit the fuse, and now the ‘Dodgers’ Protro is primed for a full-blown release.

Over the years, plenty of heat has graced the mound during first pitches – from wearing his own Air Jordan 1 collaboration to lacing up the colab. Still, Natalia Bryant rocking a Kobe 6 PE is still a firm sneakerhead favourite.
