The New Nike Kobe 4 Is an Ode to Kobe Bryant and His Daughters

Kobe Bryant’s legacy lives on. In honour of the late basketball legend, husband, and father, Nike are gearing up for the release of the Kobe 4 ‘Girl Dad’ – formerly known as ‘Bicoastal’.

This silhouette saw a few makeovers last year including ‘Philly’ and ‘Black Mamba’. For this latest iteration, the style is inspired by Bryant’s close relationship with his daughters, Gianna and Natalia Bryant. Muted jade green takes over this design with a moss green hit on the midsole. Based on initial images, the shoe seems to be crafted from suede. For contrast, the Swoosh, laces, and inner lining are dressed in black. The translucent outsole rounds off this pair.
