The Nike KD 18 ‘Sonics’ Drops in Ultra-Limited Run of Just 18 Pairs

Rounding out the tribute, a special hangtag includes holographic detailing that salutes a classic KD rookie card from the 2007-08 season.

First revealed earlier this year, the KD 18 blends modern performance tech with nostalgic design flourishes drawn from Nike’s 90s trail line, notably the and Air Talaria. Underfoot, the shoe features a full-length Cushlon 3.0 midsole for plush responsiveness, paired with a forefoot Zoom Air unit for added pop on takeoff. A sculpted TPU midfoot shank enhances stability during sharp cuts, while the breathable mesh upper and molded overlays deliver a snug, lightweight fit built for elite movement all over the court.
