Nike Honours the Late Gary Warnett with the Air Span II 'GW'
Renowned sneaker enthusiast, writer and , passed away last year. The great man would’ve celebrated his 40th birthday this week, so Nike are honouring his memory by releasing an uber-limited ‘GW’ .
According to UK-based publication , the Air Span II was a favourite of Gary’s late father, Richard. The colourway takes an understated approach, with a white and grey foundation offset by green/blue pops. The ‘II’ on the Air Span II logo has been replaced with ‘GW’ initials, branding the model Gary’s own.
Only 40 pairs of the Nike Air Span II have been produced, with pairs allocated to Warnett’s friends and family only. RIP Gary.
