It’s easy to forget that the was not the only shoe that was ever thrashed on the skate park. With SB Dunk releases already starting to pile up in 2022, it’s safe to say that sneakerheads will be looking forward to some alternatives. Enter: the Nike 97.
A simple, stripped-back skate shoe, the upcoming Nike GTS 97 ‘Summit White’ pays homage to the classic 1996 model, the throwback design perfect for those who desire a little understated swagger.
Manufactured with pristine canvas uppers, heritage herringbone traction pattern and tough rubber outsoles, we have some slight modern updates that give the model a 2022 facelift, including upgraded comfort insoles, embroidered logos and metal eyelets.
Of course, we’ve also got classic traditional lacing and vulcanised construction that never gets old.
The Nike GTS 97 ‘Summit White’ drops on January 26 for $80.
