Nike Get Inspired by Fire Crackers For Chinese New Year Dunk Lows
One of our favourite annual celebrations here at Sneaker Freaker is Chinese New Year because there’s always a huge influx of heater specialised crep releases. So far, have come in hot with their 2021 collection, from a ‘Bred’-inspired with ultra-luxe touches to this explosive . Dubbed the ‘Firecracker’, it’s been pumped full of subtle details that have been inspired by the wrapping paper that can usually be seen on firecrackers.
With the reference point of fireworks that are usually set off during the CNY celebrations, it is no surprise that this colourway is popping! Team Swoosh have gone for a blue upper with a lighter hued perforated material as the base, and darker-toned leather as the overlays covering it in graphics. What would a Chinese New Year release be without any red? Luckily (pun intended) Nike finished their Dunk Low off with subtle pops on the midsole and heel tab.
