have started gearing up for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics by dipping into some Japanese tradition. The has been lowered into an dye bath and emerged in this brilliant blue, with subtle variations and lively hues playing across its upper. The special edition sneakers have been hand dyed, so there are only 100 pairs floating around, none of which will be available to the public – we’re as bummed out as you are. The tongue tag shows Japanese Katakana characters, spelling out ‘Nike’, to honour the rich culture of Japan and help us all get hyped for the next wave of Nike leading up to the games.
The hand-dyed indigo Nike Flyknit Racer won’t be available to the public. Save up your pocket money and pray they hit the ‘Bay shortly.
