Nike Expand Their ISPA Collection With the Drifter Gator
has been busy going above and beyond with innovative tech lately, creating shoes for city-dwellers who like to navigate the concrete jungle in functional footwear. We’ve seen the insanely avant-garde , highly technical , and the tabi-toed . But now they're expanding their already chock-a-block lineup with the recently debuted ISPA Drifter Gator – complete with a knee-high shroud.
Two colourways have surfaced, a ‘Hyper Crimson’ and a ‘Coastal Blue’, and they’ve both used the Drifter silhouette minus the tabi toe. Both pairs feature a zippered pocket attached to the rear which, when opened, reveals a weather-resistant net. Attaching it to your shoe offers protection from wetter climates, or it can just be used as a cool fashion accessory. Included when you purchase the shoes are instructions on how to correctly use the shroud, which is designed to replicate the water-landing instructions found on an aircraft.
Both pairs will see a release via Nike SNKRS in select parts of the globe on October 8.
