Alakazam, Alakazeet, Nike’s ‘Wizard’ Dunks Are Pure Mystic Heat

While there's no literary evidence that anyone in the King Arthur legend spent their extracurricular time perfecting kick-flips on a hand-whittled prototype of the modern skateboard, we like to think that the magician Merlin would've had his beard blown back by new 'Wizard' .

Beaverton HQ have just added this otherworldly new Low to their Holiday 2025 lineup, joining another cleverly crafted Low – the 'Abominable Snowman', a woollier-than-an-Arctic-Wookiee offering with tons of cute details. But while that Bigfoot belter comes in little-foot sizing only, the 'Wizard' is ready for the largest of (cloven) hooves to slip on in.

The details on the 'Wizard' are as meticulous as instructions for a midnight spell; straight away the vibe hits the Swooshes, which float in with a marbled TPU – we can imagine staring deep into their 'Artisan Teal' depths to divine the future. There's custom branding on the tongue (skeletal hands hovering above a Swoosh-stamped orb) and the heel (wobbly, ethereal 'NIKE' text). Peek inside and you'll get the real newt's eye of the potion. Custom insoles depict a quintessential wizarding type – stars-and-moons hat, grim countenance, fingernails of a length that indicates this guy spends his time on the delicate work of magical arts rather than farming, blacksmithing, or in fact kick-flipping – consulting a Nike orb.

Elsewhere, the leather base and outsole both hit pitch black, with 'Grand Purple' overlays and a chilling ice-blue gum outsole.
