Raffles Are Open for the Nike Dunk Low ‘Light Violet’
It seems like almost everyday a brand new colourway surfaces, but we aren’t complaining, because who doesn’t enjoy that classic two-tone look?
A basketball shoe from the 1980s, it has always been a sneakersphere icon but in 2020 it received the resurgence of a lifetime. It was catapulted back into the eyes of the mainstream and entered the modern-day 2020s hype culture. Two years on and we’re still feeling the effects, with Team Swoosh continually releasing dual hue colourways that hark back to the 1985 ‘Be True to Your School’ era. The latest to touch down is the ‘Light Violet’ AKA ‘Venice’ which we reported on in October 2021.
A fitting name for this colourway, the ‘Light Violet’ is incredibly subtle, utilising a white base layer and muted violet tones on the overlays, Swoosh, outsole and liner. Composed as any Dunk should, the whole upper has been covered in leather with the usual perforated toe box and rubberised outsole.
