The Nike Dunk High ‘Court Purple’ is Coming
The renaissance occurred in 2020 and everyone fell back in love with the legendary 1980s basketball sneaker, with colabs and crisp colourways breathing new life into the decades-old silhouette. Two years later and we’re still feeling the effect despite the hype beginning to plateau. Team Swoosh continue to push the classic two-tone look that harks back to the 80s ‘Be True to Your School’ era. Occasionally they switch it up, veering away from the classic colourways, and that’s what they’ve done with the latest ‘Court Purple’.
A women’s exclusive, unofficial leaked imagery of this iteration has been floating around the sneakersphere for some time now, and finally a release date may have been locked in. Built as any Dunk High should, the whole upper has been doused in leather with usual panelling and perforations on the toe box. The base layer and midsole remains the classic white while the overlays and outsole are dressed in ‘Court Purple’.
Looking to cop the Nike Dunk High ‘Court Purple’? They’ll arrive at atmos Tokyo on March 12. A global release date is still unknown at this point but we’ll keep you updated.
