Nike’s Backless Clogposite Has Officially Returned
are a little late to the party with this one since the was a few years ago, but nonetheless, who can be mad at the return of the backless Clogposite?
To some, the Nike Clogposite is an eyesore, while others view this wacky design a must-have for any sneakerhead. Originally, this silhouette released in the early 2000s and incorporated a Nike build with its back chopped off to create a mule-like model. Initially, the Clogposite wasn’t a success, and even when brought back in 2014 and rebranded as the Solo Slide, it still didn’t catch the attention of the mass market. However, 2024 may finally be the year that the Clogposite receives its flowers! Over the past year, Team Swoosh have been heavily pushing their Polyurethane-adorned kicks, with the likes of the and making waves in sneaker headlines.
The Nike Clogposite was confirmed to return earlier this year in Nike’s SNKRS preview, and official imagery has confirmed that there are four colourways on the way. Adorning the clog will be ‘Bright Cactus’, ‘Black’, ‘Light Orewood Brown’ and ‘Chrome’. All four will come correct with Polyurethane uppers, nylon mesh forefoot covers and iced-out outsole units.
A release date for the Nike Clogposite hasn’t been locked in as of yet, but you can expect each of these to be trickled out throughout the rest of 2024.
