Nike Bring Back Shox With an Uber-Limited Drop
Nike's Shox technology is one of the brand's most iconic innovations of the new millennium, promising to put a spring in the wearer's step with an aggressively exposed shock absorption system. After falling by the wayside in recent years due to the likes of Lunarlon and a renewed interest in Air Max tech, Nike are finally bringing Shox back to the market with the all-new Shox Gravity.
A complete ground-up overhaul of Shox technology, the model features a modern lightweight bootie-style upper secured with a toggle lacing system. A metallic golden heel counter provides stability at the heel. The sole unit has been designed from scratch, massively updating the ageing tech while still retaining its signature exposed aesthetic.
As it stands, the only way to get your hands on this new chapter in the Shox legacy is by attending the Foot Locker x Nike Sneakeasy concept store currently open in New York City. Every day until December 5, a selection of heated product will be made randomly available to attendees on a first come, first served basis.
It is not known what day the new Nike Shox Gravity will be made available, so you'll have to pay the store a visit soon if you want to be in the running. A wider release should hopefully follow later down the track.
