Nike Basketball Teases a New Self-Lacing Sneaker

After a quiet 2019, ground-breaking looks set for a new era on the hardwood. Team Swoosh’s self-lacing technology has never been used in a performance sneaker, but that’s all about to change, with the brand teasing the release of a new Adapt-infused baller via the Nike Basketball social streams.

The teaser clip shows some of the NBA and WNBA’s top young guns, including Jayson Tatum, , Luka Doncic, and De’Aaron Fox, trying the shoes on for the first time. The footage also suggests that smartphone connectivity will be a big part of the sneaker’s design.
