Nike Are Auctioning Off 100 Unique Air Force 1s
UPDATE: The SagerStrong Air Force 1 auction is live! The auction for NBA Carl Sager's foundation for leukaemia is running on eBay, and (at the time of writing) has four days on the clock. More info can be found below and, if your wallet is healthy and you're down for the cause, you can place your bid here.
Nike are auctioning 100 unique Air Force 1s to help raise money for the Sagerstrong Foundation. Made in conjunction with TNT/Bleacher Report and Auction Cause, the shoes are made to honour NBA reporter – Craig Sager. A longtime member of the Thursday night telecast, Sager’s work has been matched only by his charmingly loud attire. Those tuning in could find him in anything from block-coloured carrot orange, to vibrant paisley patterning – a sartorial sense that has been recreated for these exclusive Uptowns.
The shoes will be auctioned off in the US via Bleacher Report and Auction Cause. Their winners will then be contacted by NIKEiD who will help them design their own Sager sneaker, which they will receive roughly 30 days after the process is complete. Anyone looking to find more information how to get these rare retro ballers can find it from Nike online.
