Nike Are Set to Reawaken the Air Force 1 ‘Puerto Rico’
New Yorkers will miss this year’s Puerto Rican Day Parade, but are still honouring the annual event by bringing back a tweaked 2005 favourite: the ‘Puerto Rico’.
Subtlety is the key with this rework, they’ve switched up the Swoosh, placing it in white rather than the original blue. Other notable changes include the collar and Air branding now dressed in navy. Sticking to the classic, they’ve proudly plastered the Puerto Rican flag along the lateral heel.
The Air Force 1 ‘Puerto Rico’ is set to arrive at select Nike retailers such as on June 2.
