Nike Air More Uptempo (Reflective)
UPDATE: The Uptempo renaissance is showing no signs of losing momentum. This 'Reflective' Air More Uptempo first lit up last year, but Nike are blessing fans of the retro baller with another drop. You'll be able to grab the shoe on April 15 from Nike online.
UPDATE: Fresh photos of the Nike Air More Uptempo 'Reflective' have emerged. Coming straight from the Swoosh themselves, we finally have a chance to peep the make-up's reflective qualities in action. Outlining the bold 'AIR' lettering that adorns both the lateral and medial sides of the shoe, Nike have managed to achieve the impossible by making the Air More Uptempo's defining feature even more ostentatious. The rope laces and matching rope pull tabs appear to also be laced with reflective properties.
No release date has been announced for the Nike Air More Uptempo 'Reflective' at this stage, but with official photos on the loose, you can be sure these will be dropping on Nike.com real soon.
UPDATE: Scotty Pippen's Nike Air More Uptempo has been burnt in to the minds sneakerheads since the 90s – and now the upcoming 3M version is likely to scald that 'AIR' lettering into the retina of any unsuspecting onlooker. Still no official word on the drop but we'll keep you posted with all the info as it comes to light.
The Air More Uptempo had such a satisfying renaissance this year that Nike would be forgiven for letting the silhouette rest – but they’re not done with it yet. If you were pipped at checkout trying to secure any of 2016’s Pippens, then you’ll be happy to know that there’s another Uptempo coming.
The ‘Reflective’ Air More Uptempo is a twist on the classic ‘Black/White’ number. Black abounds on the upper like the original, but white around the oversized ‘AIR’ branding has been swapped for a reflective outline. The laces have also been threaded with the light-reflecting material to make any of you flashy on-court footwork even flashier.
The Reflective Nike Air More Uptempo doesn’t have a release date just yet, stay with us and you’ll know as soon as it does.
