Celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, the kicked off celebrations in style with the SP overhaul back in February, while the OG model is slated to appear later this month.
The utilitarian remix is set to continue to honour the model in March, the reworked Nike Air Trainer 1 SP ‘Dark Smoke Grey’ ready to light things up. Upgrading the original materials with ripstop-like tech and ballistic mesh at the toe box, the signature velcro strap has also been replaced, the Beaverton brand opting for a buckle system on the forefoot with pull tabs that run along the tongues. 3M detailing throughout the upper has also been installed.
The Nike Air Trainer 1 SP ‘Dark Smoke Grey’ lands on March 17. The retail price is $140.
