The OG Nike Air Max Uptempo ‘White/Black/Teal’ Is Back in 2025
Lately the sneaker world has been getting a lot of great news concerning upcoming retro releases for 2025 like the and the . Now we’ve got another revered hoops shoe to look forward to next year: the Nike . Released in 1995, the Uptempo will be celebrating its 30th birthday in 2025, so there's no better way for Nike to celebrate than by dropping the most iconic look for the big-bubbled sneaker: ‘White/Black/Teal’.
The model not only looks great, but it’s also historic for being the first basketball shoe to feature full-length visible Air Max. The versatile model was seen all over the courts in 1995 and 1996 and was worn by a long list of famous hoopers at every level of play, including Kobe Bryant in high school; Ray Allen and Tim Duncan in the NCAA; and Mitch Richmond and Scottie Pippen in the NBA. And that’s just to name a few!
The Air Max Uptempo ‘White/Black/Teal’ is expected to return in 2025 in its full OG glory, featuring a white leather base, synthetic nubuck overlays in black, and teal and metallic silver accents on the midsole and outsole.
