Nike Revive the Air Max TL 2.5
Nike are no strangers to using to reintroduce some of their classic silhouettes, as collaborative versions proceeded the and revival to name a few. Earlier this year, the Swoosh trusted to reinvigorate another long-forgotten model, the , and now the inline version of the 2006 silhouette is set to touch down very soon.
One of the chunkier members of the Air Max fam, the TL 2.5 didn’t quite hit the mark commerically the first time around, but it did rack up a small cult following. But as we’ve seen from previous models, the CDG cosign can bring on one a hell of a comeback. Buildwise, the TL 2.5 takes cues from the and marries a full-length Total Air unit to a meshy layered upper, with caged overlays and wavy TPU ridges distinguishing it from the 97’s rippled build.
The Nike Air Max TL 2.5 joins a stacked line-up of 2000s Swoosh classics that have returned in 2024, and this ‘Total Orange’-accented colourway forms just part of the pack. A concrete release date is still yet to be locked in, but keep your eyes peeled for all the info.
