Nike Amplifies the TN Legacy With Oversized Branding

are turning up the volume once again on the cult-favourite – the bold new ‘Tuned Graphic’ edition is set to drop in kids’ sizes later this year. This release puts the spotlight on the sneaker’s signature making it the centrepiece of the design.
Originally introduced in the late 90s, the Air Max Plus – also known as the TN among its legion of fans across the globe – revolutionised sneaker design with its Tuned Air technology, which utilises dual-pressure air chambers to enhance impact absorption and energy return.
The 2025 ‘Tuned Graphic’ iteration pays homage to this legacy by featuring eye-grabbing, oversized ‘TUNED’ and ‘AIR’ lettering across the lateral and medial sides, respectively. These graphics are accentuated by clear TPU overlays, adding depth and a modern flair to the classic silhouette.
Two colourways will be available: a sleek ‘Wolf Grey/Black' and a striking ‘Black/University Blue’, both maintaining the aggressive aesthetic that’s made the TN a streetwear staple in global hotspots – including
Team Swoosh have been keeping the Air Max Plus line fresh with a slew of collaborations and special editions of late. In late 2024, they teamed up with to release two crystal-studded versions of the TN – 'Moonlight' and 'Sunset' – while Italian boutique dropped a trio of gradient-heavy colorways. Nike also introduced the Air Max Plus Drift, a modernised take on the classic silhouette, featuring updated materials and a sleeker design.
