UPDATE: Previously thought to be a 'Swimming Pool' drop, these Nike Air Max Plus have been revealed to take their inspiration from shark patterning. The idea comes from the French, who fondly named the 'Hyper Blue' TN from 1998 the 'Le Requin' (or 'The Shark') for its mean looking gradient. Now Nike are releasing two colourways, a light and a dark, as a nod to France's sneaker culture. Both will be available from select Nike stockists on November 23.
UPDATE: Grab your towel and slap on some sunscreen, because we've finally got a release date for the Nike Air Max Plus 'Swimming Pool'. You'll be able to able to cop those tantalising teal TNs on November 24 through select Nike Sportswear stockists. In the meantime, take a look at the refreshing colourway on foot, care of Titolo.
The Nike Air Max Plus is pumped up and ready to hit the pool! The shoe’s upper has been splashed with a rippling swimming pool effect, while the entire midsole and lower section has been bleached pure white – even the Air bubbles. Images of summer afternoons by the water cross our minds as we contemplate dipping a toe into the new colourway, something which might help sneakerheads up north survive the dreary descent into winter.
The Nike Air Max Plus ‘Swimming Pool’ hasn’t got a set release date just yet, we’ll let you know when the pool party kicks off.
