From the temperature-spiking ‘Heat Map’ Foamposites to the thermal visual language is one of the brand’s most recognisable graphic treatments – and soon we'll see a new release added to this storied lineup.

Unveiled by atmos Japan, this wild version of the features a bright yellow and green mesh base, with subtle blue gradients peeking through the signature wavy overlays. Black details keep things grounded across the cage, lining, mudguard and toe cap, while a clean white midsole adds contrast below. A blue shank plate rounds out the design, along with Tuned Air units which echo that same high-temp, yellow-green fade.

Beyond its bold gradients and street legacy, the Air Max Plus owns a few hidden particulars which rarely make the spotlight. The model's wavy-lined details were reportedly derived from an artist's sketch which mimicked the sway of palm fronds, and the hexagonal shape of the ‘Tn’ logo – developed in collaboration with the Swoosh's innovation team – allegedly references the molecular structures behind Tuned Air technology.

The Nike Air Max Plus 'Heatmap' is currently slated as an Asia-exclusive, with a drop date set for June 13. Keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for any updates on a wider release.
