Nike Air Max Plus Set to Drop in Electrifying 'Green Strike' Colourway

Nike Air Max Plus Jolt Green

With energy at an all-time high, are introducing a new ‘Green Strike’ version of the , enhancing the iconic street staple with a bold and vibrant take.

First debuted in 1998, the Air Max Plus has become synonymous with its slimmer, slightly longer lateral Swoosh, which was actually a mistake made by designer Sean McDowell that didn't get picked up until it was too late! The signature shank, which divides the front and back Air units, is inspired by a whale’s tail, but perhaps the most iconic feature is the TN logo. Initially omitted in McDowell's original sketches, the logo was eventually added to the back heel, becoming a defining element of the design.

While the 'Green Strike' doesn't have the usual sunset-inspired look we often see on the TN, this lighter iteration still brings the gradients, with steely grey blending into the namesake as it moves up the TPU waves and shank. This takes place on a crispy white base, with the electric green also coming through on the visible Air units and sole.

There's no official news just yet, but expect the Air Max Plus 'Green Strike' to arrive over the coming months via Nike.
