The Next Air-volution: The Nike Air Max DN Springs to Life at Foot Locker
You don’t need to hold your breath any longer: the next chapter in mighty line has arrived. The proud poster child for celebrations in 2024, the is without a doubt one of the boldest Swoosh models we’ve seen in recent years. Imbued with the tech that’s pushed the Air Max empire to dizzying heights, the space-age silhouette is set to blaze across the industry in a trio of cosmic colourways for its in-line debut.
Headlining the Air Max DN is the shiny new Dynamic Air system, featuring a dual-pressure, four-tubed Air unit that moves throughout the model. The front chamber has a lower pressure than the back, ensuring more spring in the step as the foot moves from heel to toe. The Air unit is also encapsulated by a Phylon foam heel, while further durability is ensured through TPU plates inserted at the heels and arch.
Each iteration is manufactured with a ‘haptic’ silicon print designed to emphasise the DN’s supersonic shape. The most eye-catching of the trio is no doubt the intergalactic 'All Night' colourway, with the blazing pink hitting hard next to the black and greys. Next up is a more subdued jet black rendition that really highlights the new Dynamic Air tech by imbuing the Air Max orbs with a sapphire hue. Finally, we have a homage to the colourway chewing through the zeitgeist in recent years: the black and white ‘Panda’ iteration ready to cause a ruckus all over again.
