The Nike Air Max 95 Gets an Atlanta Makover

The Nike Air Max 95 has been been a heavy hitter in the news cycle over the past twelve months, especially since the ultra-hype Corteiz collaboration. Next up, it looks like the AM95 will be taken to Atlanta, with an ‘ATL’ colourway that’s allegedly meant to realise this April for the city’s 404 Day. For the uninitiated, Atlanta has held their annual event on April 4 since 2012 where musicians, dancers and creatives build an immersive experience for attendees.

Leaked imagery of the Air Max 95 ‘ATL’ shows off a crisp suede-adorned iteration that’s sure to whet the appetite of Air-heads around the globe. The upper boasts the silhouette’s signature gradient in various shades of orange, which is complemented by a grey leather toecap and mesh upper. Down below, the sole unit and Air bags have been blacked out but the outsole hits in a slightly translucent orange. The usual Nike branding has been added to the entire model, with ‘ATL’ scripted on the insole.

One of the original sources stated this was another A Ma Maniére venture; however, unlike the previous iteration that Sneaker Freaker exclusively revealed, there’s no branding on the toe. If the 404 day rumours are true, you can expect pairs to land on April 4, but stay locked to SF for the official release announcement.
