Nike Rumoured to Drop Air Max 1000 ‘Oatmeal’ Soon

Late last year launched the , a fully 3D-printed sneaker that was initially debuted alongside . This new sneaker, while game-changing for Team Swoosh, followed a swathe of other labels' futuristic 3D-printed footwear like the and .
Since the launch, Nike have been pretty quiet on the release front with no details in sight – until now, as have suggested a drop of the ‘Oatmeal’ colourway will be part of Nike’s Summer offering.
Speaking on the design of the AM1000 back in 2024, Nike’s Chief Innovation Officer John Hoke said: ‘As an innovator, what's most exciting to me about the Air Max 1000 are the new solutions we can achieve with next-level manufacturing. It's control, times precision, times expression – all of which are vital to sport and to design. When those variables of control, precision and expression are multiplied at once, the future of our product really does feel unlimited.’
The Air Max 1000 isn’t shy about its inspiration, looking to the legendary Air Max 1 as the muse for its shape and tooling. Down below is the usual bubble, with 3D-printed, mesh-like, textured uppers. Made in Germany, the ‘Oatmeal’ comes dressed in its namesake hue with ‘Air’ scripted on the heel.
According to the source, the Nike Air Max 1000 will release between June and August. However Beaverton are yet to officially announce any of this – so stay locked.
