The Nike Air Max 1 ‘Dark Teal Green’ is Lookin' Pretty Clean
Following the release of the colourway a few weeks back, the is coming through again in another shade of green, this time ‘Dark Teal Green’. Overall, it’s been a solid year for the popular Air Max model, which debuted all the way back in 1987. And it’s encouraging to see more simple executions of this Tinker Hatfield classic as we move into 2021.
Dressed in a white, ‘Dark Teal Green’, ‘Wolf Grey’, and black scheme, this Nike Air Max 1 opts for a familiar white mesh base with grey overlays on the sides, forefoot and heel. The aforementioned dark green tones provide the accents on the tongue, Swooshes, upper eyelets, mudguard, and toe. Meanwhile, there’s a stitched white mini Swoosh on the forefoot, aligning the colourway with the other premium AM1s of 2020. Finally, a white midsole is combined with a black/white rubber outsole to complete the design.
Air Max aficionados will notice the colourway’s similarities to the AM1, which dropped earlier in the year.
The Nike Air Max 1 ‘Dark Teal Green’ hasn’t received an official release date just yet, but expect a drop in the coming months at select retailers and Nike.
