Its '87 brethren, the white, blue and grey AM1, is following close behind and you'll need to be just as quick if you want to get your hands on this grandaddy of Air. If you want to get in early, Overkill will be dropping their pairs on March 9 – two days ahead of the official release date. Pairs will be dropping in-store through the German boutique, with any remaining pairs to be released through their online store.
Nike’s Air Max 1 2017 ‘Anniversary Blue’ is the real deal. It’s a certified retro heater, with period correct detailing and a refined silhouette to please even the most discerning Air-head. On the occasion of its 30 th anniversary, the Max dons its birthday suit, bringing back the original ‘Game Royal’ colourway from 1987. It’s not clear whether there will be a wide release or not, but either way it’s worth getting in early – just in case.
