Update November 25: The Nike Air Huarache LE 'Praline' has just landed at international boutiques including Up There and Above the Clouds.

The Nike Air Huarache has been celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2021 – with the Tinker Hatfield home run sneaker being exhumed in a number of its classic iterations this year: the ‘Scream Green’, ‘Magenta’ and ‘Aquatone’.

The latest in-line design to arrive is a cult-favourite that hasn’t been seen since 1992 and diehard fans of the Air Huarache will certainly be familiar with the rendition. Originally released as a Foot Locker exclusive alongside the ‘Toadstool’ and ‘Slate’ colourways, the muted, stripped-back composition certainly reflects Nike ACG’s MO in early-90s.

Primarily manufactured in nubuck in its titular hue, the model adopts a purple contrast on the heel of the neoprene upper. The model’s indelible heel strap is this time rendered in black, while a brown midsole and black outsole rounds-out the design. Finally, Nike have decided to implement a leather hang tag that reads’ Limited Edition’ – mirroring the LE in the Huarache’s name.

Look for the Nike Air Huarache ‘LE ‘Praline’ to land over the coming weeks.

In the meantime, make sure to check out our comparison between the ‘Deep Magenta’ retro and its OG ‘Aquatone’ counterpart.
