The Nike Air Huarache ‘Madder Root’ Suits Premium Lifestyles
The triumphant return continues into 2022 with a new slew of lifestyle colourways that switch up the former runner’s performance materials for something a little more fancy. This women’s ‘Madder Root’ release sees a bit more leather than usual, replacing its nylon toe box with tumbled hide.
These Huas feature a very wearable ‘Khaki’ shade overlaid on the toe cap and eyestays, meeting the namesake ‘Madder Root’ colour on the Huarache stretch bootie and aforementioned tonal toe box. Keeping with the complementary palette is ‘Burgundy Crush’ on the ankle strap and tongue logo, which is accented by orange text, laces and tongue strip. The midsoles are crisp white and the outsoles are again tonal ‘Khaki.
All of these colours help accentuate found on Huaraches since 2021, when the model was revamped for its 30th anniversary. These amendments include more accurate proportions, a ‘floating’ achilles strap, and cut-outs in the midsole running into the outsole.
The Nike Air Huarache ‘Madder Root’ will be releasing in women’s sizes 5 to 10 on January 27 from 43einhalb. For newcomers to the model, it’s advised to size up as the stretch bootie and strap causes it to run small.
