has been giving us the goods with a healthy serving of the lately. Well, that’s because this year Ken Griffey Junior himself will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame – after his nomination passed with a record breaking 99.32% of votes in his favour. The big time slugger and Golden Glove Award winner will now see his signature shoe drop in a clean all white colourway to roughly coincide with his induction later this month. The leather shoe has been broken up with a perforated panel wrapping around the upper, while the only bit of colour rests in gold embroidery of the Swoosh on the heel and tongue. Griffey’s jersey number, 24, sits proudly on the rubber tab – which fastens the big forefoot strap in honour of the legend.
The Air Griffey Max 1 doesn’t have an exact release date but we expect we’ll update you with the details soon.
