Ken Griffey Junior's career with the Seattle Mariners is lore. The dude put in over 10 years of work for the team, during which he stunted as the home-run leader of the American League for four years, caught Nike's attention, and earned his own signature shoe – the Nike Air Griffey Max. Many colourways of the Griffey have turned up, but this one in 'Fresh Water' – inspired by the green on the Mariner's logo – is one for the fans. The nautical colour pops up on the lateral forefoot, curving from the toebox to the rear, while a heroic Swoosh, the laces and'24' blare in white.
