Release Date: Nike's Glow-in-the-Dark Utility AF-1

's remixes seem to know no bounds. Just last month a new of the silhouette saw the light of day for the first time, and now the Swoosh has come through with concrete release info for the kicks.

The design may utilise a simple white and black colourway, but don't let the palette fool you. The new AF-1s are chock full of unique details and, most notably, see their usual lacing replaced by a Swoosh-branded strap system. A new branding badge also graces the mesh tongue while a heel pull tab has been added along with a plastic D-ring to further drive home the utilitarian vibes. Last but not least? A glow-in-the-dark sole unit.

The Swoosh's white/black Air Force 1 Low Utility is slated to hit Nike Sportswear dealers on October 5 for $145 USD.
