Originally taking flight in 1982, the Nike Air Force 1 continues to soar across the sneaker zeitgeist. For the initial promo photoshoot, the AF-1 memorably featured six NBA superstars on a runway, Michael Cooper, Moses Malone, Calvin Natt, Jamaal Wilkes, Bobby Jones, and Mychal Thompson.

Quickly transcending its performance and basketball roots, the AF-1 is still one of the best-selling lifestyle sneakers of all time, inspiring a level of reverence rarely seen among sneakerheads. Created by Nike designer Bruce Kilgore, the AF-1 continues to add to its historic legacy in 2020, the latest design mocked up in classic tumbled white leathers.

Given additional visual hierarchy via black stitching, this Air Force 1 gets further distinction from its black rubber outsoles.

Look for the Air Force 1 to release over the coming weeks for $90.
