Nike Add Bold New Design Cues to the Air Force 1

Given its clean lines and simplistic design, the has long been one of go-tos when it comes to contemporary overhauls. That remains true in 2019, and the Swoosh are back with yet another eye-catching AF-1 re-work.

This latest rendition comes in high-top form, and opts for a variety of new branding additions throughout, including oversized 'NIKE AIR' text on the lateral side of the upper, text hits to the leather ankle strap, and black and orange stripes on the tongue badge. There's even an additional overlay on the toe bumper.

The most unique addition, however, is undoubtedly the Swoosh branding. Here it's been modified with a translucent window that showcases a combination of vertical stripes, and a chainlink fence-like motif.

Expect these AF-1s to land soon at select Nike Sportswear spots.
