Update: March 25, 2022: An official release date has landed for the Nike AF-1 'Year of the Tiger'! Leaked images of the pairs leaked back in December last year, following official images in January. Now you can try your luck in copping them on April 7 next month.

Update January 5, 2022: Images of the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 'Year of the Tiger' began circulating social media at the end of last year. The release was yet to be confirmed by the Swoosh, however official images have now come through, verifying the drop! Check out the fresh details on these AF-1s, particularly the embroidery and those orange heel tabs! Stay tuned for an incoming release date.

With the Lunar Calendar turning its attention to the Year of the Tiger in 2022, it's looking like the Chinese New Year festivities are going to be big! Jordan Brand recently announced their CNY collection for next year, a three-pack of kicks including an Air Jordan 1 Low, the Air Jordan 6 Low and the Legacy 312.

Nike are also dipping their toes in the water with a Grade School Dunk Low. The pair is super textural, with its toe box and mid-foot featuring subtle grey and black suede, while its rear has been embroidered with tiger stripes. And down below you'll find a ferocious outsole!

And now images have surfaced of a celebratory Air Force 1 via @apolloluo1976. Arguably a more playful take on CNY, you'll find the shoe's uppers are constructed with canvas, which meets a white midsole and orange outsole. Tiger embroidery can be found on each of the lateral heels, with the key design feature being the Tiger striped-Swoosh. Rounding it all out are the specialised tongue tabs and blue, orange and red accents.

Stay tuned for a release date for these celebratory Nike Air Force 1s!
