Nike ACG's Latest Collection Wants You to 'Seize the Summer'
'Seize the Summer' is the marketing tagline for Summer 2022 collection, and with summer arriving in the Eastern Hemisphere in just over a month, the outdoors-focused subdivision has served up a warm weather-ready slate of footwear, apparel and accessories. Breathability, freedom of motion and utility were the key words for this season, so Nike ACG served 'em up in spades with lightweight yet hard-wearing offerings.
The season's key footwear option is a new silhouette dubbed the ACG Lowcate. A low-cut hiker/trail runner with a clever name that plays on 'locate,' an old-school look and plenty of bright colourways, the Lowcate features a midfoot plate for stability and a rough-and-tumble outsole lug pattern to keep you steady on rocky terrain.
Standout pieces from the extensive apparel lineup include a packable insulated jacket that shields adventurers from abrupt evening temperature drops while remaining inherently portable, and rugged cargo pants with Cordura kneecaps. There are also sweatshirts, shorts, hats, leggings and, of course, ACG's playful graphic T-shirts.
