Release Date: Nike ACG Air Mada ‘Vachetta Tan’

Update May 12, 2022: After seeing a somewhat global release earlier this year, the Nike ACG Air Mada 'Vachetta Tan' is now due for a US drop via SNKRS. You can expect the pairs to land on May 14.
A 1994 low-key heater from large catalogue, the Air Mada in has finally received a release date and it’s coming soon!
Over the past few years, Team Swoosh has been paying close attention to their ACG legacy, looking back to the archives and resurrecting older silhouettes that may have been forgotten. The Air Mada is the perfect example, originally hitting shelves in the mid-90s, it’s a lightweight hiker and has a full-length Air midsole. They’re an almost-perfect release for the current hiking and outdoor gear GORPcore trend.
It was back in January when we heard that the archival model was making a comeback following its subtle resurgence as the Air Mada 2K10 back in 2010. The first colourway to surface was a dark-hued green and brown combo, a far cry from the OG combos from 94. The latest, in ‘Vachetta Tan’ is a lot more OG-esque though. The upper exudes 90s ACG vibes and is actually reminiscent of the OG ‘Sandalwood’ colourway, however the tones have been slightly altered.
