Here’s Everything You Need to Know About Nike’s 2024/2025 SNKRS Preview
SNKRS showcases have fast become favourite events for sneakerheads across the globe, and Team Swoosh have come correct on their second one, with an array of fresh product for upcoming seasons, including the megalithic retro, , cult colourways and a remake of the Total 90 football boot.
Nike’s focus on their ‘Cult Classic’ series has been a welcomed initiative for sneakerheads, and they’re doubling down this year on an array of both OG retros and new colourways arriving for 2024/2025. The biggest of the bunch is of course the Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’ retro, which originally released to a riot crowd for 2012’s All-Star Weekend. Rumours have been swirling about the ‘Galaxy’ for some time now, but Team Swoosh have finally confirmed its existence, with a release slated for mid-2025. Another big retro on the cards is the Nike , a 1996 silhouette with a highly dedicated cult fanbase. The -designed ‘Sport Red’ is slated for a holiday release this year. Elsewhere, the perennial Air Force 1 has been blessed with a 2005 retro ‘Escape’ slated for 2025, ‘Vanta Black’ for later this year, and 2024 ‘Paris’ which has been inspired by the city’s underground catacombs. Also forming part of a city-inspired collection is the ‘Berlin’, which is slated for arrival towards the tail-end of this year.
The weirdly wonderful are coming in premium leather and suede builds, with the ‘Rainbow’ making a welcomed return. Sneaker-boot lovers are rejoicing, because the rugged Goadomes are making a mega return for Holiday 2024, following Supreme’s 2021 snake-clad collaboration on the silhouette. Nike aren’t skimping on Foamposites for the coming 12 months either, with the ultra-high-top Flightposite also set to make a comeback at the end of 2024 in the classic ‘Metallic Gold’ tone. Another oddity that Team Swoosh are set to resurrect is the legendary Total 90 SP III football boot that has been adapted for lifestyle wear.
As you can expect, there was plenty of shown in the livestream, and it looks like the boffins at Beaverton are putting plenty of steam behind the Air Max Sunder for the remainder of the year. Multiple infused Sunder colourways are set to drop throughout the rest of the year and the start of next. Nike’s was also shown, sadly not in , but instead with a sparkly Swarovski collaboration that includes two crystal-adorned colourways. Elsewhere in Air-land, Nike will bring back the Air Max TL 2.5, which was hinted through a collaboration. Finally, Nike are set to launch a hectic hybrid Air Max Waffle Racer SP, which fuses two legends – the and the TN!
