Nike have tapped the mind of Johanna Schneider, their senior designer of women’s apparel, to curate NIKEiD options for the Air VaporMax – and she's served up colour combos that show a love for sophisticated, pared-back hues. Schneider's used a heather grey to accentuate the VaporMax’s tactile knit, applied a ‘Hyper-turquoise’ green to the Air bubble that she says reminds her of glass bottles, and coloured the insole with ‘Challenge Red’, which she views as the colour of life.
You’ll be able to tinker with all these colours, and piece them together as you like, when the option becomes available on NIKEiD on September 7.
