is on board with the 90s footwear resurgence, but they’re doing it with their own contemporary flair via the new ‘Modern Essentials’ pack. Inspired by the classic 99x series, the X-90’s DNA is made up of a little bit of old, a little bit of new, and a whole lot of style.
The upper sees oversized and aggressive tooling, coupled with minimalist engineered materials. The design’s clean toe and knitted vamp is accentuated with asymmetrical collar straps, debossed details, classic ‘N’ logo branding, and stretch bootie for all-day cushiness. Down below, the midsole and outsole combine modern performance tech with familiar NB heritage tropes for a chunk-a-fied, yet progressive aesthetic.
